Kalkan has a Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and short mild winters. As a guide early Spring/Summer and late Summer/Autumn are the most comfortable times to visit with temperatures rising from around 25 degrees in early April, to the low 30's in late June, and falling from the low 30's in early September, to the mid 20's in late October. July and August are the hottest months with average temperatures around the high 30's and occasionally rising to over 40 degrees.
Kalkan does not suffer from high humidity except for short spells of weather either in July or August when humidity levels can reach around 60%.
